He was a Navy Veteran and received Bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University while working for the Chicago Housing Authority, where he worked for 38 years. He was an active member American Legion Post 525, a life time member of the Arlington Heights VFW and an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Visitation Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Lying in State Monday 10:00 AM until services 11:00 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mt. Prospect. Interment private at Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
